HOUSTON (BusinessWire EON) September 25, 2007 -- "Andrea's technical background and experience in all phases of petroleum economics and the petroleum opportunity lifecycle bring a wealth of knowledge to the Caesar Systems team and to our clients. She will work directly with our clients to gain a thorough understanding of their needs and will coordinate with our software development team for implementation. She will also serve as a subject matter expert and author on topics that coincide with her areas of specialization," commented Victor Koosh, chief executive officer of Caesar Systems.
Prior to joining Caesar Systems, Andrea Chiappe was employed with Pioneer Natural Resources in both the United States and Argentina for almost 10 years. She also worked in the past for OXY and Quintana Minerals Santa Cruz Inc.
Chiappe has co-authored and presented technical papers for industry and professional organizations covering petroleum economics topics. She presented 'Connecting the Accounting & Engineering Data Silos - Data Integration Process via PetroLook Implementation' at the 10th International Conference on Petroleum Data Integration, eCommerce, and Data Management, April 19, 2006, with co-authors Christoph Faig and Jenna Anaya. She also presented 'A Probabilistic Approach to Shale Gas Economics' - Society of Petroleum Engineers 108053 at the Hydrocarbon Economics Evaluation Symposium, April 3, 2007 with co-authors Bill Gray, Troy Hoefer and Victor Koosh.
Chiappe studied chemistry at the University of Buenos Aires and received a specialization in oil and gas from the Catholic University of Argentina. She is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. She is fluent in numerous languages including Spanish and French.
